Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’ve never had therapy before

Then I’ll do my best to make this a great first experience! You don’t need to worry about that, I’ll explain everything in the first session. We can go as slowly as you need.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You’ll know it’s right because it will help. I am passionate about tailoring therapy to each individual and working collaboratively towards their goals. We’ll find the right therapy for you. And if it’s not a good fit, I’ll help you find someone who is!

Do you offer telehealth?

I am currently working solely as a telehealth clinician! I see clients mostly via video, although phone is also available.

Do I need a referral?

You don’t need a referral. Some people choose to get referrals because they provide rebate. You can learn more about this in the “Fees & Services” Section.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is all about getting on the same page. I’ll introduce myself, explain the process and answer any questions and then ask about your current situation and relevant history. We usually end the first session by establishing a goal and discussing possible treatment options.
